Comedy Ties; Inside Story of the viral tiktok "Ehen Gang"
This is an interesting story of an unplanned viral success between friends and colleagues and the intentional will to capitalize and build on it successes. A group of Individual comedians "MacLawrence, MC Blacky (Papa Zillion), MC Vibez, Sakalicious and Doctall Kingsley came together and created a sensation comic group called Ehe

How did "Ehe" as a Group Start
Maclawrence responded on behalf of the Group: The EHE group started after the first video went viral; we were just gathered to shoot a content as usual, then one of us (Doctall Kingsley) wanted to do a video and tried to say something to the camera and another replied EHE, it sounded good, so we all gathered and did that first video and reluctantly posted it and boom... it went viral.
The content was emmmm! Ehe I remember
“If you are a woman” EHE! And you are cheating on your husband EHE! lol
After two days our phones started receiving countless notifications from the videos mostly from people outside the country; so we felt since there is a high demand for it, we decided to continue it with different topics and here we are. Although we have our various characters we portray separately but EHE unites us as a body.
Meet The Individual Comedians That Makes Up The Ehe Group
Doctall Kingsley Responding to an Introductory Question about himself:

My name is Kingsley Ogbonna but most people know me as Doctall Kingsley, I was born and brought up in Lagos Nigeria but am originally from Ebonyi state, I've been a comedian for 11 years but doing it professionally for 8 years, from standup comedy to skit making. The EHE content came as a result of friendship, staying together brings about ideas and EHE content was one of the results of such ideas.
Being part of this project has been of great value and has played a major role in promoting each and every member of the team and I must say I'm overwhelmed by the outcome
One thing that has kept the team together is the bond of friendship, not forgetting where and how it all started I have a lot to say but I will stop here. I want to say a very big thank you to the team for their efforts and commitment.
MacLawrence Responding to an Introductory Question about himself:

My name is Egbujor Tochukwu MacLawrence popularly known as MacLawrence (The Rich Job Seeker) I was born in Lagos, my primary and tertiary education was here in Lagos, but my secondary education was in Ekiti state; FGC IKOLE EKITI.
I started comedy professionally after winning The Ingenium for Christ season 1 competition in ST MATTHEW’s CATHOLIC CHURCH AMUKOKO, so it launched me into the business of the standup comedy.
Before I ventured into content creation in 2020. As a standup comedian, emcee and actor, I have mastered the craft over the years; being part of the Ehe team has opened me up to working with people, since after I left my drama group to be a standup comedian, I never did my craft alongside anyone, it’s just me on stage and during rehearsals, but with the crew am obligated to work with other persons and bring ideas also to the benefit of the organization. It has being a great experience all the way.
MC Blaky Responding to an Introductory Question about himself:

My name is Efe Solomon popularly known as MC blaky and Papa Zillion, I’m a standup comedian from delta state…
I started comedy officially in 2007 and I’ve shared stage with the likes of I go dye, I go save, Gandoki and more other senior men in the comedy industry.
I’m happy to be part of the Ehe family and I’ve been able to entertain the world with my craft and still pushing to break more ceilings. I'm also an actor, currently working on a short series with Video Director Richard Izege and prior to the series I'm currently working on, I'd featured in short drama skit with Bovi. In the nearest future i would like to see myself as a prominent Movie Star and of course I'm not leaving Comedy, It is in born.
MC Vibez Responding to an Introductory Question about himself:

My name is Oghale Emmanuel popularly known as Mc Vibez; I am a stand up comedian and music artiste. Beyond comedy, I play musical instruments like the keyboard and the guitar, I write songs for various artiste and I also sing myself.
I'm more likened to a Gospel Artiste and in a few years from, I have a feeling the entire world would know me more as a Gospel Music Star than a Comedian, but then; Comedy has been my bedrock, whether its on stage or on screen. I just love to entertain.
Being part of the Ehe crew has opened me up to great possibilities and its amazing creating contents with other people.
MC Sakalicious Responding to an Introductory Question about himself:

My name is Mark Gbemiro Salokun aka MC SAKALICIOUS, A stand up comedian and event host, I will say I am privileged to be a member of Ehe family,
I am happy we were able to reach the world with our craft.
What's Comedy Like in Nigeria today that is different from 5 years ago and what are people doing differently
Comedy in Nigeria is improving or rather has improved over the years, before as a comedian, you either have to wait for a known platform to get to the top, but now, from the comfort your home, you can reach the entire world: so what people are doing differently now is handling their own productions in a small and big scale. The Industry keeps getting better. - Doctall Kingsley
What's content production like from the perspective of a content creator?
From a content creator's perspective, content production is a dynamic process that involves generating ideas, planning, creating, editing, and publishing content while consistently engaging with the audience and analyzing feedback to refine future efforts. - MC Sakalicious
What's the future for Content Creators and Comedians in Nigeria (Opinion)
The future is bright for all content creators and comedians because if you observe you would know that the demand for contents are extremely high. What are the Challenges as a Content Creator and a Comedian Answer
Challenges are normal for every business or craft; so personally I don’t see them as challenges, they are route to where we are going. But consistency has actually helped me stay abreast - MC Vibez
Are there a Union Body or Association for Content Creators or Comedians in Nigeria
There are none generally recognized except if each talents in their locality gather, but there are none registered with the government or generally known for now; but I feel with time it would, because the importance of a union is to help get solution to a problem or problems that might stay long to get, with recognized union we can have it solved; but for now there is none recognized - MacLawrence
What's the economy of the Content Creation Industry worth in Nigeria
Am not sure I can tell that for now, but the industry more than 50 million dollars, because if you calculate what the likes of Mark Angel, Sirbalo, MrFunny, Brainjotter, Bro Shaggi and many more earn in a month, you would know that our industry is worth billions in naira. - Maclawrence
